Simply Accounting: Minimum System Requirements

Sage suggests the following as minimum system configuration requirements for Simply Accounting solutions. Your specific requirements may differ.

In addition to the following, Simply Accounting products require any and all Product Updates available for your product.

Simply Accounting First Step 2009 Minimum System Requirements

· Pentium® III (or equivalent), 1 GHz or higher (Pentium 4, 2 GHz recommended)

· 512 MB RAM (1 GB recommended)

· 820 MB hard disk space (additional 100 MB needed for installation)

· Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2

· Microsoft® Windows® 2000, XP, or Vista

· 256-colour or higher SVGA monitor, optimized for 1024 x 768; supports 800 x 600 with small fonts

· CD-ROM drive

· Word and Excel integration requires Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel 2003 or 2007

Conversion: Only converts data from Simply Accounting Entrepreneur. Imports customer and vendor data from QuickBooks® versions 2001-2007, MYOB® versions 10 and 11, Quicken® versions XG 2003, XG 2004, XG 2005; and Microsoft Excel.

Windows Vista Compatibility

Simply Accounting by Sage on Windows Vista

Simply Accounting 2008 and 2009 are the only versions of the software that have been designed and built to run on the Windows Vista operating system.

Simply Accounting 2007 will run on a computer with the Windows Vista operating system; however, some compatibility issues have been identified.

Simply Accounting Pro 2009 and Simply Accounting Premium 2009 Minimum System Requirements
